It’s that time of the year when kids head back to school. It may have been a while since you were a student, but you can recapture one of everyone’s favorite cafeteria memories with a recipe for Peanut Butter Corn Flake Cookies. Thanks to Denise Grisham, a food blogger from our home community of Pulaski, Tennessee, for sharing the recipe.

INGREDIENTS

  • 1 cup white sugar
  • 1 cup white corn syrup
  • 3 cups peanut butter
  • 6 cups cornflakes

DIRECTIONS

Combine syrup and sugar in a saucepan. Bring to a boil. Remove from heat and stir in other ingredients. Stir until well-covered with syrup mixture. Pour in buttered 9”x13” pan. Cut into squares when cool.
